As the largest of the Schools with over 20 undergraduate disciplines, the School of Arts and Sciences programs are home to over 1,000 students majoring in humanities, natural sciences and mathematics, social sciences, and interdisciplinary studies.
Gifts to the School support the liberal arts – the heartbeat of a Fisher education – and fund programs and experiences that prepare students for the demands of a rapidly changing and diverse society.
Many programs offer community-engaged learning, internships, and experiential learning options that provide students the change to apply what they have learned in the classroom to a professional setting, so that they better understand the connections between what they study in the discipline and how their courses prepare them for a career after graduation.
